Installation Services The installation of any new plant or equipment has potential for serious disruption of production. To eliminate or minimise this risk, MCA will work clsely with the client to develop a comprehencsive set of documents including – • scope of works • engineering drawings • safety management plan • quality assurance • schedule of works. With MCA your project is managed from start to finish with complete safety and Quality Assurance (QA) documentation during and after completion. Maintenance Services Maintenance of plant and equipment is one of the largest cost contributors on any site and requiring a staff with an extensive skill base. With this in mind, MCA has designed and packaged specialist teams for regular specialised preventative maintenance tasks. Some of the benefits of implementing an outsourced MCA preventative maintenance include – • limited capital costs • no ongoing skill training for specialised staff • reduced downtime, including maintenance access downtime • better asset management • safety management plan (reduced risk and exposure to hazards by implementation of automation). MCA has successfully implemented a number of Automated Rope Greasing Systems, with scheduled preventative maintenance programs. Shutdowns Our approach for shutdowns is as a business partner – when your shutdown planner identifies a critical task requiring detailed planning and scheduling for completion with the shutdown period by a dedicated team with their own supervisor, MCA can support you. MCA will consult with your planners and develop a comprehensive scope of work and access detailed drawings. From this, a safety and quality plan is developed, resource allocation and a detailed task schedule submitted as a complete package. The work team will be briefed on the scope of works and arrive on site with all JSA's, equipment and work plan to complete the assignment. Schedule reviews will be held during all tasks to address slippage or issues and discussed with shutdown planners to meet QA and schedul requirements. Manufacturing & Fabrication Services MCA operates an equipped workshop facility in Parkes for design, manufacturing and small fabrication works. Our in-house capabilities are supplemented with strategic alliances with other fabricators to ensure fast turnaround and quality management in small and large projects. Our facilities enable MCA to continue meeting the quality and time demands of the mining industry. Profile Cutting MCA has recently expanded its core manufacturing and fabrication services with the installation of in-house profiling and fabrication equipment. The workshop is also now equipped with a Profile Cutting Systems (PCS) model 4500HD, a 10T overhead crane and a number of specialised, state-of-the-art cropping and punching machines.
